This Art Exhibition was perfect for the main library downtown.  This visual art exhibit challenged local artists to depict a piece of literature that they found meaningful or memorable.  This included novels, poems, quotes, and lyrics to songs.  Twenty-six artists created 52 images that convey their visual perception of specific words.
Please join The Art Center Cooperative and The Jacksonville Artists' Guild at the Jacksonville Main Library for the June Artwalk on Wednesday, June 7th, from 6pm - 8pm for a reception with food and drink plus an awards ceremony.

"What's on Your Table?"
at the Jacksonville Main Library

Nov 2022-Jan 2023
A Feast for the Eyes
Amid the rush and excitement of a busy holiday season, we are often presented with moments of quiet. Whether you're taking stock at the end of a long year or taking the opportunity to gather around a table with family and friends, December can be a time for reflection.
For some, the question "What's On Your Table?" might mean a simple dinner menu. For you, the answer might include traditional meals, beloved family recipes or the fine china and silver service you only use for special occasions.

When you ask the fine artists from The Art Center Cooperative, Inc. and Jacksonville Artists Guild the same question, what you get is a uniquely personal and stunning new art exhibition in the Gallery at Main Library.
Open Monday, November 28, 2022, through January 5, 2023, "What's on Your Table?" features work from 34 accomplished local artists.

Gaining a Post Pandemic Awareness
NOVEMBER 3RD, 2021 - JANUARY 3RD, 2022
Human nature dictates once we are told to stay inside, our mind wanders to the outside and to some bucket list activities. Always meant to; go pick blue berries, plant a vegetable garden, walk a couple of miles every day, cook two gourmet meals a week, teach the children to roller skate, learn another language and the list goes on. Now that we are reaching Post Pandemic life, do you still have your list, turn your visions, actions into images for this exhibition reflecting hope in these trying times.
